Simple Abstract Calligraphy Ver. 'Green' |
Creating abstract calligraphy with a graphics program "inkscape" can be done by using letters or abstract images that can be obtained by downloading the dingbats clip-art from sites that offer downloads for free dingbats like dafont.com.
It is easy because it only uses abstract images and fonts from existing clip-art resources and by using only copy and paste technique.
The important thing here is the emphasis on the process of creative imagination to produce an artistic picture of abstract calligraphy.
Download the free dingbats or cliparts from site dafont.com, such as 'Tattoo', 'DeadSpace', and 'FontCo Flares' and then install the font.
Phase-2 Creating Letters Of Calligraphy Abstract
Step-1
Click the 'Create and edit text objects' button and click ' Select Font Family ' screen, and then select font ' DeadSpace ' and type the letter ' b ' and the clip-art will appear as shown in the example.
Now coloring the clip-art red by clicking the red button on 'Color Bar', then click the image and expand by draging in direction of the arrow out as in the example.
Step-2
With the button 'Select and transform objects' click the picture and duplicate by clicking 'Duplicate selected objects' button, then drag slightly to the right as in the example in the direction of the blue arrow.
Step-3
Again make duplicate of the duplicated picture by clicking 'Duplicate selected objects' button, and drag slightly to the right as done in step-2
Step-4
Step-1
With the 'Select and transform objects' button do cover and click on the image of the Phase-2 and click the 'Fill and Stroke (Shift + Ctrl + F)' screen, select the 'Fill' and then click the button 'Linear gradient' and we will get result like in the sample (if necessary to do also click 'Gradient' and set the handle of the gradient to give a clearer color effects).
Step-1
Click the 'Create and edit text objects' and click on the screen 'Select Font Family' screen and then select the font 'DeadSpace' and type the letter 'b' and the pictures are colored red with a red button on 'Color Bar', then zoom in by clicking the image and expand with the sliding direction of the arrow out as in the example image.
Step-2
With the button 'Select and transform objects' click image from Step-1 and go to the 'Fill and Stroke (Shift + Ctrl + F)' screen, select the 'Stroke' and then click the 'Flat color'.
Step-3
On the 'Fill and Stroke' screen, select 'Stroke style' and expand the 'Width' up to 39.000 pixels (px), then drag the picture to above the image from result of Phase-3 and we will get result as in the example.
Phase-5 Creating Other Calligraphic Letters
Step-1
Click the 'Create and edit text objects' button and click on the 'Select Font Family' screen, then select the font 'DeadSpace' and type the letter 'a' and keep the clip-art color black, then rotate the image 90 degrees towards the right and expand by clicking the image out towards the right direction arrow and the result as in the example.
Step-2
Click the 'Create and edit text objects' button and click the 'Select Font Family' screen, and then select the font 'DeadSpace' and type the letter 'q' and keep the clip-art black, then expand the image by clicking and drag the arrow out as in the example.
Step-3
Same as Step-2 for the letter 't'
Step-4
Same as Step-2 for the letter 'u'
Step-5
Same as Step-2 for the letter 's' but select color-code 'Olive'
Step-6
Same as Step-2 for the letter 'a' but select the color-code 'Green'
Step-7
Combine the calligraphic letters results from Step 1 to Step-6 into one image of abstract calligraphy as in the example, make it abstract with the feeling and taste of your art to produce a good image of abstract calligraphy.
Step-1
Click the 'Create and edit text objects' button and click the 'Select Font Family' screen and then select the font 'FontCo flares' and type the letter 'f' and change the clip-art color from black to white and drag into calligraphy drawing results of Phase-5 as in the example picture, then click on the picture to expand image by clicking the arrow out and the result as in the example.
Step-2
Click the 'Create and edit text objects' button and click on the screen 'Select Font Family' and then select the font 'Tattoo' and type the letter 'j' and then turn 90 degrees to the left and give the color 'Aqua' or light blue, then make a box in 'Purple' color by clicking the button 'Create Rectangles and squares' and click the color 'purple' button from the 'Color Bar' and then expand the image by clicking the arrow out and the result as in the example. Now click the clip-art ('Tattoo' letter 'j' ) and drag above the 'Purple' box.
Step 3
Click the 'Create and edit text objects' and click on the screen 'Select Font Family' and then select the font 'Tattoo' and type the letter ' j ' and give the color 'Yellow', and then make another color box blue 'Navy' by clicking 'Create Rectangles and squares' button and click the color button 'Navy' on 'Color Bar' and then expand the image by clicking the arrow out and the result as in the example. Now click on the image (dingbats 'Tattoo' letter 'j' with 'Yellow' color) and drag above the blue box .

Click the 'Create and edit text objects' and click on the screen 'Select Font Family' and then select the font 'Tattoo' and type the letter ' m ' and give the color ' Red ', and then make a box with the color ' Black ' by clicking the ' Create Rectangles and squares' button and click the 'Black' button on the 'Color Bar', then click on the image to expand larger with the direction the arrow outward and the result as in the example image. Now click on the image (dingbats 'Tattoo' letter 'm' with color 'Red' ) and drag above the black box.
Step-5
Click the 'Create and edit text objects' and click on the screen 'Select Font Family' and then select the font 'Tattoo' and type the letter ' s ' and give the color 'White', and then make a color box 'Green' by clicking 'Create Rectangles and squares' button and click the color button 'Green' in the 'Color Bar' then click on the image to expand larger with the direction of the arrow outward, and the result as in the example image. Now click on the image (dingbats 'Tattoo' letter 's' with color 'White' ) drag above the picture color box 'Green'.
Step-6
Click the 'Create and edit text objects' and click on the screen 'Select Font Family' and then select the font 'Tattoo' and type the letter 'g' and keep the color 'Black'. Now click on the image (dingbats 'Tattoo' letter 'g' with color 'Black') drag above the color box 'Green' and the result as in the example.
Step-7 Create color box 'Black' by clicking the 'Create Rectangles and squares' button and click the 'Black' color button in the 'Color Bar' and then click on the image to expand larger in the direction of the arrow outward and the result as shown in the example.
Step-8
Bring ornaments as the result of Step-1 to Step-7 into an image of calligraphy as in the example, use the whole feeling of your artistic taste to produce a good picture of abstract calligraphy.
